In town recycling on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month from 9:00am to noon under the Austin Avenue overpass. When you bring your recycling, take a minute to get to know us. We are happy to answer your questions about KBB or recycling.

In-Town Recycling

What To Bring:
#1 Clear Plastic Drink Bottles ONLY

(Must be CLEAN with NO lids, NO disposable food trays of any kind, NO milk jugs or kitty litter containers, NO plastic bags)
Cardboard
(NO wax juice, NO wax milk cartons, NO greasy food boxes, NO containers with food residue of any kind)
Aluminum drink cans
(NO foil pie plates, NO aluminum foil)
Metal food Cans
(Must be rinsed and free of food, NO aerosol cans)
Magazines
(NO junk mail, NO hardback books)
Newspaper
(NO junk mail, NO packing paper, NO white office paper)
Glass jars and glass bottles
(Must be clean with NO lids, NO ceramic or porcelain, NO candles, NO light bulbs, NO window panes)
Whole white office paper
(NO colored paper, NO envelopes, NO junk mail) (Also needs to be bagged.
Shredded white office paper
(NO colored paper) (Also needs to be bagged.)

At the Landfill

What To Bring:

Automotive batteries
(NO AA, AAA, etc.)
Latex paint
(Must be from your own personal residence, also must have the original legible label)
Used motor oil
(Must be from your own personal residence, limit of 5 gallons per person)
Used oil filters
(Must be from your own personal residence)
Used antifreeze
(Must be from your own personal residence)
Scrap metal including water heaters, lawnmowers, refrigerators, freezers, ovens, AC units, etc.
(NO wire, NO microwaves, NO ammonia refrigerators)
Brush which includes tree branches or trimmings, leaves and or grass clippings
(NO trash, NO lumber, NO rocks or dirt will be unloaded at the brush pile.) All bagged leaves are to be emptied out of the bags by the customer. All loads containing cactus and/or briars, as well as any root balls, will have to be taken down to the landfill where there will be a fee charged.)

*We No Longer Accept Household Cooking Grease.

ALL LOADS ENTERING THE LANDFILL/RECYCLING CENTER MUST BE COMPLETELY COVERED WITH A TARP OR A NET OR THEY WILL BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $10.00 UNSECURED FEE ON TOP OF THE REGULAR COST.
