Santa’s Favorite: This home will give you a WOW factor as you view it. This home generally should have trim on the roofline, sidewalks, yard edge, and have lights around trees. Single color themes or tasteful multi colors are also a plus where you can tell that the resident made considerable effort to design a pattern and really make it look nice. Jingle ALL THE WAY!: When you look at this home you should think, “This house is OVER THE TOP!” This home should really load up on the lights, blow up figures, yard ornaments, etc. Most Traditional: This home should have an elegant theme that is clean and neat, not cluttered. It should have a consistent color theme such as white, red, green, or a combination of the three. It should remind you of an “old fashioned” Christmas.

Entrants agree to the contest terms.
Entrants allow KBB to publish their address and post pictures of their house on KBB's website for voting purposes and to social and news media for winning status and/or notable mention.
Upon online submission, I will receive a confirmation of my entry via email.
If entrant doesn't receive a confirmation, entrant will contact KBB immediately.
KBB is not responsible for entries not received.

Contest rules & information:
Participation is open to all residents within the boundaries of the city of Brownwood.

Entry is FREE, no cost or fees apply.
Keep Brownwood Board members are not eligible to participate.
Entry applications must be received no later than Dec. 8th at midnight.
The contest is for exterior decorations only, including decorations in windows visible from the exterior. Judging will be done from outside the residence only.
Judging will be based on “curb appeal” as viewed from the street only. Only those decorations on the street side of the property will be judged (corner lots will be judged from both streets). Judges will not enter the property; they will judge from “street view”.
Participants agree to have their addresses posted on the KBB website, news & social media or other local media publications (ie. Facebook, Brownwood Bulletin).
Participants agree to have one or more photos of their decorated residence exterior posted on the KBB website, news & social media or other local media publications (ie. Facebook, Brownwood Bulletin). Participants agree there will be no compensation for said posting or publication.
A minimum of one prize will be awarded with a maximum of four prizes awarded.
Judging criteria will include [a] Unique design and creative use of lights and decorations; [b] Storyline or theme; [c] Display and placement of decorations; and [d] Overall presentation.
Judging will be done from 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm on December 9-11.
Participants should ensure that all lights and decorations are in place and activated for the judging period.
Please ensure that your street address is visible on your home, we can’t judge what we can’t find.
Winners will be notified by email or telephone December 13th.
We will announce winning homes by December 14th. on our Facebook page.
