TRD Grant Update: Promotional Work

If you haven't noticed our most recent billboard... let me tell you about it...

• Convenient In-Town Recycling - 

Twice per month (1st & 3rd Saturdays) KBB volunteers for the Convenient In-Town Recycling Station. We're there to minimize contamination and help new recyclers know and understand how our local system works in reference to what recyclables we are able to accept and how we need to receive them. At In-Town Recycling, we take most household recyclables, see our recycling page for a complete list and printable recycle guide. "LetsRecycle"

• High School Recycling Program -

A large portion of this grant was dedicated to the BISD High School Recycling Program. Providing them with the resources and tools they needed to create a working and sustainable recycling program for their school. At the same time, providing educational resources and opportunities to create good environmental habits for our future citizens.

• Event Recycling Systems -

If you are having an event and are interested in recycling, please contact us for more information. This is a new system we are equipped to offer, thanks in part to the Texas Recycles Day Grant (Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages and Keep Texas Beautiful). Plastic drink bottles, aluminum cans, glass bottles... lets keep them out of the landfill. Give us a call with any questions 325-641-0533.
